OTHER Producers OF
CLOISONNE As I have already discussed on my history page, the Far-East came
late, into the production of cloisonne decorative objects. There are many examples of antique cloisonne from other
areas. Items from Eastern Europe, Russia, France, England, the
middle-east, Greece, Portugal, Persia, etc., are displayed in museums worldwide. As market demand
and products changed over time, Oriental cloisonne exports made their way to the forefront, especially after 1880.
Other countries did continue their cloisonne manufacture on a smaller scale.
I have chosen pieces from Russia, France and Korea. These date from early to late 20th century.
